Bereavement Services

HOSPICE OF THE VALLEYS  continues to provide support to families after the death of a loved one. With the help of bereavement volunteers, our HOSPICE OF THE VALLEYS  staff maintain contact with family members through telephone calls, mailing, visits and support groups for thirteen months after a patient's death.

Memorial Gatherings

Memorial gatherings provide an opportunity to honor and remember those who have died and provide a sense of comfort and community to their families and friends.

Support Groups

Many HOSPICE OF THE VALLEYS  family members find that support groups are helpful in dealing with grief and loss. HOSPICE OF THE VALLEYS  offers free support groups to family members of our patients as well as to the general community. Our support groups meet in Sun City and Temecula.

Coping with the Holidays

The holidays can be a difficult time for those who have had a loss. HOSPICE OF THE VALLEYS  offers special grief support groups throughout the holiday season to help bereaved persons cope with the demands of the holidays.
