Resilience WorkshopCategory: Calendar of Events | Permalink Published: Wednesday, April 06, 2011 Workshop InformationHospice of the Valleys hosted a workshop, "Resilience", on Thursday, April 21st at Mary Phillips Senior Center. Terry Azkoul, Executive Director, at Hospice of the Valleys was the presenter. Guests developed skills to become more resilient. Resilience won't make your problems go away, but can give you the ability to see past them, find enjoyment in life and handle stress better.

8-Week Evening Adult Bereavement Support GroupCategory: Calendar of Events | Permalink Published: Tuesday, March 22, 2011 Evening Adult Bereavement Support GroupHospice of the Valleys offers support groups to assist grieving persons in their bereavement process. We are offering an 8-week evening bereavement group starting March 29th. Bereavement groups are FREE and open to the public following an initial bereavement assessment with our bereavement support staff. Facilitator: Bill Koster

2010 Donor Appreciation EveningCategory: Calendar of Events | Permalink Published: Thursday, December 09, 2010 Hospice of the Valleys honored it's most cherished donors with a commitment to Hospice on November 30th at Monteleone Meadows in Murrieta. A festive evening of dinner, drinks and music under the stars, over 80 event sponsors, community contributors and individual donors turned out for this intimate and festive evening of dinner, drinks and music. We are so grateful for the incredible generosity seen from our community in 2010, and this evening was all about honoring our giving partners!!

Dr. Lynn Euzenas, Spiritual Care Supervisor of hospice of the Valleys, introduced a variety of ways to tell the story of your loved one's life, to keep their memory fresh in your heart and home, and to continue their legacy throughout the years. This workshop was free and open to the public.
