HOV's Program Manager, Lynn Euzenas, PhD, MDiv,  is attending the ACE Project, Advocating for Clinical Excellence Training, this week. Sponsored by the City of Hope

and the National Cancer Institute,  Dr. Euzenas will be participating in training on transdisciplinary palliative care.  Modules on the moral
imperative of palliative care, the integration of the voice of the patient and family in care, ethical obligations of psycho-oncology
professionals in palliative care, transdisciplinary team building, and the psycho-spiritual aspects of palliative care and palliative care advocacy will be presented.  

Teaching modules, instructional materials, power point presentations, and a variety of books will be presented to participants who will be encourged to return to their
organizations and provide continuing education on these topics.
