Petals for PatientsCategory: HOV News | Permalink Published: Tuesday, August 09, 2011 Thanks to the leadership of our new Volunteer Manager, Jennifer Harcarik, the teen volunteer program is growing quickly! Some of the teens have put their heads together to launch a brand new program for Hospice of the Valleys - Petals for Patients. The teens worked together and sought out flower donations from area businesses. A special thanks goes out to Fresh and Easy, The Flower Corral and Albertsons. Now twice a month, the teens come to the HOV office to create flower arrangements to distribute to our patients. The office smells like a floral shop when they are working and they inspire and energize all of us!
