Employee of the Month - September 2011Category: Employee of the Month | Permalink Published: Thursday, September 22, 2011 Congratulations to Sierra French on being chosen as Hospice of the Valleys Employee of the Month for September, 2011! The advocacy and loving care she shows to her patients and families is a blessing to them and sets a wonderful example for us all. When she is with patients and families, she has a special way of attending to all their needs - mind, body and spirit. She really listens to them and they feel heard. She communicates well and offers a special spiritual presence that is highly needed and valued at end-of-life. Her enthusiasm for being an active and valuable team player is impressive and such a gift to us. She is always willing to help out wherever and whenever needed and taks on additional shifts when we are in a pinch. We so appreciate her flexibility and her willingness to go the extra mile to lend a hand. And yes, it is ok to say NO once in a while! She has dedicated herself to continual learning and has demonstrated professional growth in her years with us at HOV. She consistently provides excellent care to our patients and families. Her efforts, coupled with the rest of our teams' efforts, have significantly impacted HOV's reputation in the community. Sierra lights up the room when she enters it! Her smile and positive energy are infectious. And communicable! She wears her kindness on her sleeve and always has a hug and encouraging word for her teammates and we thrive on that. She is a loving and caring professional with a heart of gold. What a winning combination and what a blessing she is to us. We hope she feels blessed being such an integral part of our team. She is loved and cherished!
