About Us A letter from the Executive DirectorHospice of the Valleys has had the honor of serving the families of Southwest Riverside County with love and compassion since 1982. We are the only hospice headquartered in Murrieta/Temecula. We are proud to employ a team of highly qualified professionals whose expertise is matched by a dedication and generosity of spirit. They claim hospice work as their personal calling and it shows in all they do. It is truly a joy for each of us to come to work each day to care for our patients, families, and caregivers. We know that no one ever wants to have to call upon hospice. While we affirm that death is a natural and inevitable part of life, we understand none of us ever wants to face the terrible news that a loved one's illness is terminal. We at Hospice of the Valleys are specially trained to assist you in this difficult time, and we live by our commitment to provide support, comfort, and education to those facing the challenges at life's ending. We believe that each life is worthy of being celebrated, and we are privileged to assist our hospice patients and families as they establish their legacies and find peace during life's last journey. Many of our hospice families have said to us, "I wish I had called hospice sooner!" They report great relief at finally seeing their loved one free of pain, caregivers who finally find desperately needed assistance, and patients and families who say, "Finally, someone is listening to me." These benefits can be yours as well as soon as you call Hospice of the Valleys. You do not have to wait until your loved one is dying to begin hospice services. We can begin hospice service as soon as your physician indicates an illness is terminal.
We are dedicated to serving you and your family, and hope that you will consider choosing Hospice of the Valleys to walk beside you through this difficult time. Terry Azkoul |
