Careers Compliance CoordinatorPosition SummaryThe Compliance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining agency compliance with all regulatory bodies. Maintains current knowledge of all new regulations and continuously updates clinical policies and procedures. Responsible for the agencies quality assurance/performance improvement plan. Participates in the orientation and on-going training of clinical staff. Carries out the organization's purposes in a manner consistent with the goals, objectives, and established policies. Qualifications1. Professional Registered nurse currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of California. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing desired. 2. Education/Experience - Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or another health-related field with three (3) years experience within the last five (5) years in a hospice or home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, at least one(1) year of which was in a supervisory or administrative capacity. 3. Demonstrates competence in knowledge of hospice regulations and clinical staff training functions. 4. Assumes responsibility for preparing staff for all upcoming audits. Assumes leadership role during on-site audits. Provides ongoing training for staff regarding documentation requirements and other regulatory processes. 5. High level of confidentiality, organization and communication skills. 6. Valid California driver's license, acceptable driving record, and maintain auto insurance coverage within the limits set forth in the Employee Handbook. In addition, full access to a reliable vehicle for work, with an expectation of significant driving. Compensation commensurate with experience.
